This was a fantastic prologue! I agree with everyone else here–give me more please!! I love your general style of writing, although it seemed a little strange to me in some places. I think maybe it was because a lot of the sentences seem to be around the same length? I don’t know, I can’t quite put my finger on it. And I also agree with @j-a-penrose that all the laughing was a little much. Everything else, though, was really good. I am jealous of your description, as that is something I am terrible at. XD
