    1. Tea or coffee? (The world breathlessly awaits your answer.)

I actually like both? Well. Sorta. I’m usually okay with tea (plus there are so many options!) and I do like coffee but I can’t take strong coffee. The only coffee I can drink is the coffee I make at home, a weak latte, or a mild mocha.

    2. How did you become a writer?

When I was young I was exposed to books a lot. I loved flipping through them, savoring the pictures, listening to them being read on TV. And they inspired me to create my own stories. So I did, handwriting and illustrating and making little books by hand. I was about 4 or 5 years old when I wrote one of my first books for my father – The Bear. I can’t remember what it was about, but I vaguely remember a bear waiting to cross a street. There was a chicken somewhere in there as well.

    3. What has the theme of your life been this year? What has God been teaching you?

I think this year has been a lot on my authority in Christ, my relationship with God, and walking in His word.

    4. What’s your MBTI type?

    INFJ

    5. What would be your preferred way of taking over the world?

Ooh, toughie. I think I’d let my loyal crew take care of it for me while I sit back and watch my master plan work out just the way I want it.

    6. What are your hobbies?

Being creative, whether that be baking things, writing songs, or sewing random objects.

    7. What are your writing goals for this year?

Start a blog. I’ve been planning ad getting excited for it, but in the meantime I’ll just handle my group blog The Writing Mafia.

    8. If you got to be a flamingo for one day, what would you do?

Ooh, I love this question so much. If I could be a flamingo for one day, I would do two things: A. Enjoy being pink. I don’t get to be naturally pink but flamingos do so why not savor that? B. Avoid marabou storks. They seem notorious for eating flamingos. *eyes marabou storks suspiciously*
