@law0413 I like what you said about short and long sentences. They can jolt or calm a reader depending on how they are used.

I like using paragraph breaks to emphasize certain emotions. During an intense scene of reflection, I’ll have breaks to emphasize certain thoughts, even if the rules of grammar don’t call for one. In fact, using unnecessary breaks is one of my flaws. 😛 But on occasion, it works. 😉

That doesn’t count as prose, but it has something to do with rhythm and cadence, so it’s close. 😉

@sleepwalkingmk Repetition is fun to play with! 😀 I love being poetic with my prose as well (though I’m not always good at it 😉 ).
