Shoutout to @mariposa for her amazing painting skills and taking the adventure to visit the SE staff that made it to Realm Makers. It was so great to see her and Brianna! (And she painted us cool things.)

@brandon-miller You’re muchly welcome! I’m so glad you like your painting! 🙂 I spent the week beforehand studying everyone’s bios so I could fit the paintings to each person’s personality. 😉 It was cool to finally meet y’all! Now I can more accurately portray everyone in Raiders of the Lost Arc. 😜
I never got the chance to ask you, but who was your favorite speaker at the conference? 🙂

Oh… favorite speaker is hard. Mr. S, obviously. He has taught me 95% of everything I know about writing. But Nadine was great too. (Duh.) And Steve Laube was phenomenal and insightful and really encouraging. (Also duh.) And hey, Mary Weber’s keynotes were so just… honest. I loved those too.
This is not answering your question. I am aware of that.

Gabby didn’t answer my question either, but I’m aware I asked a hard question. 😜 Maybe this question will be easier: was there a speaker you *didn’t* like?
Mr. S is Daniel Schwabauer, creator of the One Year Adventure Novel curriculum and derailer of my life (in all the coolest ways.)
And no, there wasn’t a speaker I didn’t like. That would have been sad.
