(Alright. It’s clear I have too many characters in this castle. I’m going to pull some out.)

Sage woke up… this was a strange place. He looked around. There was nothing. Just white. And light. It looks like his power, but much more… potent. Beside him, Sage could see Crorie. So he wasn’t alone.

But she wasn’t the only one here.

There was someone else. A shape… or rather… shapeless thing. Like smoke. It was about as tall as the average human, but it certainly didn’t look human.

“If you are content with this world, you should know… your journey will be more difficult.” They said in a voice that didn’t sound male or female, “But… if you are unsatisfied with your quest…”

Just then, multiple capsules appeared. They seemed to be for stasis or preservation purposes.

“Enter the capsule and you will be sent to your home realm, with no memory of these events.”

… Sage was done. He didn’t want to be here. He wanted to go home. Go back to Mother. Who knows… maybe this would all turn out to be a dream.

He entered. He noticed Crorie entered a capsule as well. Some others did too, but Sage didn’t get time to see them.

(If anyone wants to remove a character, here’s your chance. Also, nobody will remember characters who leave being in the castle.)

Arsene… was having an interesting day. He was teleported to… a maze. Curious… very, very, very curious.

Just then the spider showed up.

“RUNNNNN!!!!!” Arsene shrieked in an impossibly high pitch, as he grabbed Alessio and darted into the maze.
