The opening has so many good parts…but I think this is my favorite:

Pennsylvania shined the light on the wall and pointed to the hieroglyphics. “Hey, can you read this?”

Storm leaned over, grabbing a blood-red chisel from her violet satchel. She started etching into the wall.

Pennsylvania furrowed his brows. “What are you doing?”

“There’s a typo.”

Pennsylvania sighed. “Hey, can’t you just read it? We’re so close to the treasure!”

She shook her head and continued chiseling while Edna glared at Pennsylvania for his impatience.
