“What am I supposed to call you now?” Alessio asked.

… Normally Hades would have ignored anyone who asked for his name, but it was clear they’d be companions for a while longer. Much to Hades’ irritation. Working in a team often led to Hades clashing with its members or just ignoring them entirely. Hades doubted he’d be able to work with them efficiently, so there was no reason to give them his name.

“Uh…no offense.” Alessio apologized awkwardly for something.

“None taken,” The black knight stated, “I go by the name John Doe.”

Nobody would be able to trace him with that. He’d vanish once all this was over.
