I’ve noticed that there is little activity from other members in the castle. Part of which is my fault, due to not coordinating with other members. To the point, what do you people think should happen in this trial?

The trial is centered around Betrayal, whether it is someone a character betrayed or when they were betrayed.

I’m not really sure. There are a variety of interesting ways to handle this.

1. a character could betray everyone in the mirror.

1. 2. a character could hallucinate a situation where it seems like they must betray the others.

1. 3. a character could betray everyone by joining Amnesia. (I like this one.)

1.3.1 the character joined Amnesia to betray and destroy him.

3. a character could experience a time they betrayed someone in the past.

4. a character could experience a time they were betrayed by someone in the past.

5. a character could ‘walk a mile’ in someone else’s shoes, experiencing a time someone else was betrayed.

6. someone could betray Amnesia and assist our characters. (I like this one.)

6. 2 later this someone could betray all the characters.

7. some combination thereof. (I REALLY like this one.)

 

So, I think everyone remembering the times they were betrayed AND times they betrayed someone is good. PLUS being forced into a situation where they have to make the choice and experience it again. Lots of drama and angst character development there.

Of course, Search and Caleb are probably the only people here who wouldn’t betray someone for convenience. Therefore, they are the most interesting people to make the decision.
