Thankfully, Arsene had shifted part of his body to avoid cutting major stab wounds. However, the van was, well, totaled. Currently, the boy was holding a knife at Arsene, demanding. “Where is my friend?!”
“Your friend,” Arsene asked, “I don’t have any idea who you are talking about.”
While this was true, the boy didn’t seem to believe him. Why, because the boy tried to stab him immediately after that. Evading, Arsene shifted part of his body, bashing his elbow into the boy. However, Arsene never counted on the boy being able to grab him as well. Both fell onto the ground, kicking and fighting over the knife. While the boy was certainly not a pro with a knife, he was still reasonably good in a fight. Arsene was unaware of whether the boy would activate his power or not. While shifting part of his body could theoretically defend him from such an attack, Arsene didn’t wish to see if it would work. Flipping the boy onto his back, Arsene attempted to steal the knife, only for the boy to smash his gut. Rolling over, Arsene grabbed the boy, still unwilling to lose. His pride would not allow him to lose.
    Plus he wanted an explanation.
Unfortunately, Arsene was unaware that they were on a hill, tumbling down it. Now, he and the pyromaniac were more than aware, because they had both slid down and into a river.

Groaning, Arsene sat up, clutching his head. Instead of the dry shore Arsene expected to find himself on, he was in a ferry boat, going down the river. He was in a soft, comfortable bed. He was almost ready to rest at ease, when he noticed in the bed beside him there was boy from earlier. Tempted to just get up and leave him, Arsene heard the door open.
“You two alright?” An attendant asked.
Arsene paused. He almost was ready to say he was alright, except for the fact the pyromaniac was in the same room with him. The lunatic almost killed him.
“Yeah,” Arsene answered, “I am fine.”
About this time, the fire user started to stir to life.
“Can I talk with my friend in private for a second?”
    “Of course,” the attendant said.
Arising, the attendant left. Just in time too, because the pyromaniac was now awake. He was currently glaring at Arsene, making the latter thinking he’d use his powers. Arsene shifted part of his body, including a section of his face.
“The peaceful solution is always the best in a situation like this. If you attack, I will use my power to take you down. If that happens, the attendants will call the police and we both will go to jail. Understood?”
The pyromaniac glared at Arsene, nodding his head. At least the fire wielder wasn’t going to start a fight on the ship.
“Where is my friend?” The boy spoke in a demanding tone.
“I told you,” Arsene responded, allowing his body to shift back, “I don’t know. If he was in the bank, he is probably with my brother.”
“You expect me to believe that?” The boy inquired.
Sighing, Arsene got up. He noticed He not longer had his coat or vest, but still had his mask. However, the mask would lead to trouble. He’d need a better one. “I don’t know if you’ll trust what I say, but that hardly matters now. If the police find us, they will arrest us. Me for being Arsene Lupin and you for suspicion of being an accomplice.”
The boy glared at Arsene, still quite angry with him.
“Well,” Arsene yawned, “I’ll be on the deck if you need me.”
