Hey Lillian ! I’ll try to help you out, though disclaimer my art is quite a bit more cartoony then yours is.
So the hair on these looks pretty good. I myself am a beginner so I can’t really tell you the right/wrong way to do stuff (maybe artists like @christieaton and @mariposaaristio and @ethyrendal would be of more help) but this is how I go about hair.

I tend to start out with very loose (and slightly exaggerated) shapes.

(Btw sorry I didn’t spend a lot of time on these sketches)
And then I add more detail to the hair, like added flyaways and defining little ‘chunks’ of the hair

And I drew a slightly more realistic lady to show you how that could apply to more realistic stuff 🙂

And then I use value and texture to indicate the rest of the millions of hairs instead of drawing loads of individual lines/hairs

(Again, sorry these are so sloppy and doodly.)
