“And where is this?” The girl called Lia asked after Mercedes had introduced herself.

Those around the room glanced at each other.

“We call it the Castle. But we don’t know very much else about this place,” Hermione said.

“You seem to know your ways around here a little better than we do,” Gabi asked. “Have you been here long?”

“Not long,” Hermione said, and then furrowed her brow. “You said you were from Italy? Medieval Italy? What do you mean by that?”

Lia and Gabi exchanged glances.
