“Sir, we’re holding them off for now, but it’s not long before they break through our lines,” the hologram of the wolf captain said. The wolf governor paced anxiously, stroking his chin in concentration.

“I’m calling for reinforcements,” the governor finally said.

“No,” Count Dooku’s hologram said. “You will not call for reinforcements. Tell your men to fall back.”

The governor protested. “But… but sir! If they get through to Courscant-”

“Oh, I’m not planning on letting them get to Couruscant.” A sinister smile crept across Dooku’s face.

“If the king joins the Republic, we will be overwhelmed by their forces!”

“Did you not hear me? Call off your men, governor.”

“But sir-”

“Do as I say!” Dooku snapped, and then quickly composed himself. There was still an edge to his voice when he spoke again. “Or you may find yourself quickly and quietly… replaced.”

The governor gulped, and activated his captain’s hologram. “Fall back.”

Sooo, I was thinking that maybe Dooku sends a battle cruiser or something to capture them and their ship? Because right now we have… *mumbles* one two three… FIVE people with lightsabers, so basically Jedi, and then the king and the prince. All super valuable to the Republic. So Dooku thinks he can use them as bargaining chips or hostages.

Does that sound good?
