“All right, I’ve cast protection and concealment spells over this entire area,” Hermione approached the group, dusting her hands off. “That should keep Macha away, for now.”

“Good,” Ahsoka said, and then looked around the room. “I need some volunteers. If we’re going to get out of this castle, we need to scout it out.”

Two clones stepped forward, followed by Harry.

“Are you sure you want to go, Harry? You have to keep up with the clones, and stay out of sight.”

“I can be quick, and hiding won’t be a problem,” Harry said with a grin. “I have an invisibility cloak.” He shoved his hand into his Hogwarts robes and pulled out… nothing.

“Very funny, kid,” one of the clones commented dryly. Harry shot him a look and then threw the ‘nothing’ over his shoulders.

His body immediately vanished.

Those not familiar with the magic jumped back in surprise. Ron laughed at the startled reaction of the clones. Harry just smiled and pulled his hood up, disguising his floating head.

“Let’s go,” he said, voice trailing to the door. Two dazed clones followed after him.

Hermione stepped forward. “I know you mean well, Ahsoka,” Hermione started hesitantly. “But I… I really don’t think we can get out of here.”

Ahsoka knelt down and touched Hermione’s shoulder.

“Don’t lose hope. There’s always a way,” Ahsoka said. Hermione shook her head.

“It’s not that, it’s just, well… I don’t know,” Hermione scrunched her face at the lack of words.
“I just think we should focus more on defeating Macha than getting ourselves out. We don’t want to release her on the inhabitants of this country, do we?”

Ahsoka studied the ground and nodded. “There are many options, and I’m not sure which is best. Let’s wait until our scouts return, and then we’ll decide.”
