Ok, I have my next bit. I forgot to toss Ron and Harry in but I’ll get there soon enough. Please let me know anything I should change about writing the Wingfeathers!

“Who are you?” Hermione demanded, brandishing her wand in the direction of the eldest boy. He looked down to his sword, which had just recently clattered to the floor.

“I’m Janner Wingfeather,” He said slowly, looking up to her with bright blue eyes. “This is my brother Kalmar, and my sister, Leeli. Who are you? Are you from Anniera as well?”

“I’m Hermione Granger, student at Hogwarts. This is Hagrid,” she said, gesturing to her friend. “And no, we’re not from… Anniera. Is that what this place is called?”

“No. I have no idea where we are,” Janner replied. He was silent for a moment. “Do you mind pointing that away from me?” He asked, gesturing to her wand. Hermione eyed him suspiciously, and then lowered her arm to her side. Janner retrieved his sword and sheathed it. He moved back to his sister and brother, who had relaxed their weapons as well, and returned Hermione’s cool gaze.

“So… you’re a student at Hogwarts, you said?” Kalmar suddenly asked, head tilted, and a smile quirking the side of his mouth. “A bit of a strange choice for a name.”

Hermione gave Kalmar a withering look and lifted her chin primly. “I’ll have you know that the Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry is a highly renowned establishment in the wizarding world. Isn’t that right, Hagrid?”

“That it is, Kalmar Wingfeather,” Hermione’s large friend agreed. “An’ ‘Ermione’s the smartest student in it.” At this Hermione blushed and looked to the floor.
