Kari,
I thought the same. I had to double check. 🙂
Elaine and Draven: Sorry. I would say that in Python, but it’s hard to do on here.

Um… No, I don’t think so.

C++ is way messier than Python. It’s in in the C- family languages (along with C, C#, and all those other ones.)

Yes! I do. I use Python, and I can kinda make out C++.

I think that rewriting a fairy-tale is a good idea… but I think that we would have to work really hard to avoid the ‘And they lived happily ever after,’ thing, cause I think that that counts as a Cliché.

Eero shrugged.”I’m apprenticed to a doctor. Sometimes our patients are young, and deathly afraid of needles. So if we have to anesthetize them or whatever, I just give them a candy. Normally, people can’t tast the difference. Then again, they’re immensly useful to give to people you don’t like.” He grinned, “Not that there are many people that I…[Read more]

*bows* You’re quite welcome.
Calla: You shoulda done it.
Me: And If I killed someone every time they killed a character I loved, we wouldn’t have that many books, would we?

Eero shrugged. “If I had eaten the whole candy it would have been a couple of hourse. As it is, I regognized it before I had eaten too much, so it wasn’t too long. A jaguar, eh?” Eero took a bite from his last remaining sandwich. “Interesting.”

Eero yawned and sat up, blinking. Where in all the kingdoms wa— right. Some jungle. He had eated a drugged lemon drop. He sighed. Wonderful. Cassie had always warned him about that. “So,” He started, “What did I miss?”

Me: Anyways, I have to go. It was really fun talking.
Calla: He finally did it. He poisoned himself. I told him that would happen.
Me: Oh hush. It’s not deadly or anything. It’s not like it’s Sabi star sap or Henbane.
Calla: He’s lucky that it wasn’t. I wonder if that will teach him a lesson.
Me: *sighs* Knowing Eero, probably not.

How did I miss the dragon??
———–
Eero didn’t look surprised that there was a dragon. He only looks dismayed. Â “I don’t have a sandwich for him too.” Eero turned to Sharv and Shara, “Do you know him?” Shara nodded, and Eero popped another lemon drop from his pocket in his mouth, still looking up at the dragon. He immediately spit it out…[Read more]

Ok! I have one novel that I’m trying to write and four short stories that I’m currently ‘working’ on. Let’s see. I haven’t been writing seriously for too long, only about a year and a half or so. (so I was about 12 or 13) But I’ve dabbled in writing since I was eight. I finished my first short story when I was 13.
What about you?
-
Beth replied to the topic Role Play for Learning: A Continuation in the forum Characters 7 years, 4 months ago
Yeah. I can see that. I think that if I was writing a similar story I would probably do the same… but most of the stories that I write are short stories, and don’t usually span more than a year in length… so I don’t really pay attention to ages.
-
Beth replied to the topic Role Play for Learning: A Continuation in the forum Characters 7 years, 4 months ago
I usually know my character’s ages within a decade too, but nothing more than that.
-
Beth replied to the topic Role Play for Learning: A Continuation in the forum Characters 7 years, 4 months ago
That’s funny, because I don’t really care about my character’s ages. I’ll have a basic idea of my characters ages, but unless it’s really important to the story, I don’t really pay attention to it.

Eero is 14, almost 15, and Calla is about 23.
