Activity

It was opening day. The hubbub of the waiting crowd outside died down once he stepped through the doors into the café. The smell of fresh coffee brewing wafted through the cafe. The wood of the table was soft and smooth under his fingers as he brushed against them on the way to the back. It looked like Janet had already written the specials of the day on the chalkboard walls.

He looked up and sighed at the hanging lightbulbs. They weren’t his favorite and he had argued against them. But they fit the chic look Janet had desperately wanted.
