Nice to meet you! Thank you for the welcome 🙂

When I started drawing, I mostly did anime/manga art. As I’ve practiced my art has slowly inched to a more “semi realistic” style, but there’s definitely still some manga influence in there. I use pencil and pen a lot too, as well as colored pencils and alcohol-based markers.

This is a pretty familiar question to me, I’ve been there XD

So, I currently use an Intuos pressure-sensitive tablet without screen display. I’ve used a Wacom Bamboo in the past and it also worked great, it’s just smaller.

Hi! I am not a professional artist but I have been doodling with both the Intuos Pro and Wacom Cintiq Pro 16 in. The “hearing” part of the ear is on the inside of your head, so unless the knife gouged into the person’s skull, hearing will still be intact 🙂 Although they’ll probably hear a bit differently, since our outside ear directs sound inwards, so things will probably sound differently.

Thanks! Help would be nice…though with us just talking on an online forum i don’t know how that would work (figure that out in time i guess) right now I’m working on a fantasy story, christian fiction, and I wrote down a beginning idea for a fairytale rewrite.

Your story sounds cool!

Hi there! I’m Lily! I came back to visit the SE Forum and saw your post!

First off, I love fantasy too; I’m a member of the KP forum (I thought your username looked vaguely familiar) and I also love needle-felting! (I haven’t met a lot of people who do). What are some of your favorite things to create?

Also, welcome to Story Embers!

I think it’s really up to you. Since sci-fi tends to be more secular than fantasy, I think putting any kind of god-figure in it would be interesting and unique. If you have different alien races, I’d definitely think about the god’s/gods’ plan for them and how they relate to the god(s), just like you would if you were writing fantasy.

What WIP do you have going right now?

In my mind, putting a sci-fi story in this universe AND dealing with God is rather difficult, or at least gets a bit weird. If you have aliens, you have to think about what God’s plan is for them–did they fall? are they corrupted by sin? does Jesus save them too? I haven’t read C.S. Lewis’ Space Trilogy, but I think it would be…[Read more]

That movie sounds really interesting. I don’t think I’ve heard of it before.😄

My magicless fantasy just kinda means I have a totally different world created, with new animals/races and stuff, but there is no magic. I’ve heard it called a lot of different things (Adventure fantasy maybe?🤔) I like it because I like the vulnerability…[Read more]
