Princess is captured by an evil Dragon.

Young Knight goes to rescue her.

Princess ends up killing the Dragon.

Knight and Princess never marry, but stay friends forever.

OR if we go for our more common comedy run.

Prince must find True Love.

His best friend, a dragon, becomes his wingman.

Goes through different Princess cliches with a twist (e.x. the frog princess is an old woman because that happened a long time ago!)

Prince figures out he’s really in love with the Narrator, because who else knows everything about you, yet still loves you.

The last idea is a bit lengthy, but hey, its only 3,000 odd words in my play so surely it could be chopped down a bit…right? *sweats looking at the 2,500 word count* Anyways that’s my twists on a romantic Happily Ever After cliche.
