@eden-anderson I’ve gotten a total of three thrift store books, I think? One of them was pretty good, one of them was awful, and one of them was good but I didn’t realize it was an adult book so… there was a scene I ended up having to skip. What’s your favorite book you discovered at a thrift store?

Yeah, I’d say most of the graphic novels I checked out were pretty good. At least about half of them? I got three Marvel comics, I think, a handful of actual graphic novels, and a handful of graphic mythology books (which I think were really directed at a younger audience and thus weren’t as interesting as I’d hoped. :P) I think if I were to find enough of the right sort of comics and graphic novels then I’d really enjoy them.

@cassandraia LOLLLL. Fortunately our library doesn’t have carts, so I’m limited to what I can carry, otherwise we might have real problems. XD (Of course… I can carry a pretty tall stack of books, too. ;D) I always go straight to the YA section in the bookstore or library, because it’s (usually) a good balance of grown-up writing and development but without as much adult content. Of course, that’s not a solid rule (which stinks), but it’s at least a little safer in the YA section. XP
