It’s an annual event, so if you want I can make a note to let you know when it comes around next year. I lost last year, but it still got almost 30k out of it, and so far I’m ahead of where I was this time last year, so at least in my experience it can provide a huge productivity boost.

Ooh! What editor are you working with, out of curiosity? Also, I’m totally open to chatting about publishing, if you’d like. I’m not super well-versed in traditional publishing, since that’s something I only want to do once or twice (at this point) so I haven’t researched it in-depth, but I can relate my experiences with indie publishing and point you toward resources on both varieties, if you’re interested. 🙂
