@happyholly_c Linking Christmas, the three french hens, and faith, hope, and love together is so creative! Definitely a neat idea. But the dialogue is pretty stilted, which is totally understandable–when you have a point you want to get across, it’s hard to do it in realistic dialogue, because most of the time people don’t say everything they’re thinking. For the beginning, I’d try rewriting it. But don’t sit down with a checklist of things your characters must say to each other; just let it flow naturally, and if a certain thing you wanted your characters to say doesn’t make it in, either leave it out or give your characters a really good reason to bring it up. You’ve got a good start, though! I really liked how you gave the aunts different accents from Nate and Ben. Keep up the good work! 🙂
