Hey there! So from how I understand a non-cliche’ happy ending…It needs to have an ending that wasn’t expected to be happy, but ended up being happy anyway?  🙂

Some ideas I have so far:

1) Engineer invents a machine/robot that keeps failing at what it’s meant to do, but it eventually does something more than what the he first intended.

2) Artistic guy tries SO HARD to win over this girl by pretending to be more masculine like the other jocks in his school.  But he isn’t able to. He later finds out that the girl already likes him and that she was just waiting for him to come to her as the artist she had already liked.
