Wow, that’s a lot of older siblings. 🙂 Are you the youngest? I’m the third of six children myself.

Oohhh, I might have to order that one to satisfy my curiosity, christian mysteries are one of my favorites. Especially when they aren’t filled with over the top romance. Have you ever walked through the shelves of the christian fiction and noticed that romance has managed to find it’s way into nearly everything? Or at least everything released within the past fifty years. I don’t mind slow burn, healthy romances, (which sounds like what you’re describing with this story 🙂 ), but I’m tired of the sudden, whirlwind roller coaster of emotions kind. The ones that are all emotion and no substance just like the ones you see portrayed in the world.  A sweet, genuine romance read sounds refreshing.

Slow but steady sounds like consistent progress. 🙂 My progress tends to be more all over the place. Having someone to brainstorm with is fun, isn’t it? 🙂  You’re welcome. Tolkien’s work was very detailed and impressive. He spent years on that series and it showed.

I find my inspiration is often subconsciously influenced by the stories that have had the biggest impression on me. Sometimes even stories that I thought were wrong inspire me, because then I find the story I am writing is a refutation of the lies I’ve heard.  The writer’s brain is a odd collection of memories and scraps of information that it stores over the years, waiting to be used.

Oh thank you! 🙂 I’ve been trying to fill out my Earth 2, but I’ve been busy. But if the Inspector sounds intriguing then I must be doing something right. What made him seem intriguing to you? I spend so much time with his character I’m too aware of what I want him to be. Another prospective would help me see what he how he appears to other people. 🙂  What do you think makes him interesting?
