Ooh, I love this world. Very cool story.1. I wasn’t confused at all. It was mysterious, but not confusing.
2. For the most part I really liked it. The first sentence, however, tripped me up an awful lot. The first and second half just seemed so identically that I had to do a double take. But I thought the rest of the story flowed nicely.
3. I thought it was a perfect balance. Not enough to give all the answers, but plenty so I wasn’t lost.
4. I thought this was a good balance too. It made he setting unique, and identifiable as being from your other story.
5. She was very distant. I actually didn’t gain a whole lot about her personally, however that didn’t strike me as being bad. It fit the whole dreamy, otherworldly feel the story had. If I had to describe her I’d say she’s a bit of a mad scientist sort. It seems like she really did her research and she’s got crazy dedication to finding out the truth.
6. I was curious, but not emotionally attached to him. Mostly because I didn’t have much to go on. He was obviously dragged a long way up, suffering all the while, and supposedly killed. But there was nothing that told me why he was a hero, or why I should care about him as a person, and not just a mystery.
7. Yes!!
8. I don’t think it’s bad. I’m horrible at titles though, so I can’t help in that area XP
