On your first story, are you confident in the things you need to go back and change, or not really sure what needs improved? If you’ve got a solid grasp of what will need further attention, I would say wait till it is finished for critique. If you’re uncertain and feel like you need input in order to properly flesh out the beginning, then by all means feel free to share it for critique.

Your second story sounds very intriguing! I personally don’t have time right now to do any major critiques, but if you’d like to post it I’m sure others will hop on, and I can always come back to it when I have more time on my hands.
