<p>I&#8217;m going to be publishing on KDP Amazon self-publishing. I&#8217;ve never been published but I&#8217;ve gotten some good advice on how to use it. I&#8217;ve been told that you can set it up and have it ready in a week or less with kindle and under a month with paperback. <p>First off &#8211; if the series is episodic (like Nancy Drew or The Hardy Boys), go ahead and publish the first book! Since episodic series are tied together by the same characters or settings, they don&#8217;t need to be planned out to the last volume, especially since they are indefinite.
