I’m Hannah! *insert awkward wave* I had a bit of a learning curve on Story Embers myself.

I admit, I’m also not writing strictly horror right now. But those techniques will be used often enough in my current project – once I hit plot point 1 – that I’m not actually 100% sure about that.

So I am not particularly familiar with what makes a gothic novel well, gothic. I prefer a psychological horror like the Twilight Zone! 🙂 Could you explain your genre to me?

Funny story. I’m a pantser! But my Mom – God help her, I must have driven her up the wall more times than I suspect – was very strict on outlining when I was homeschooled. It took me a loooooong time to realize that doing detailed outlines is what killed projects for me! lol

Anyway, I’m kinda teaching myself to pantser now. I do have some tips and tricks that I’m willing to share…

… once I figure out the correct way to express them. Ya’know what I mean?
