I can see where you are coming from with Harry Potter, and I have some good friends who feel the same way. Hold strong to those convictions!

I appreciate you being willing to beta read my novel! I know reading a novel is a big ask, so whatever you can get done would be greatly appreciated. I know some beta readers who just give overall impressions while others go into the details, while some just write every little thing that comes to their minds (not always a good thing or helpful… lol). But whatever you feel like contributing would be great.

Some overarching things I am worried about or would love to hear would be whether there are dry or boring parts, whether the story flows, whether there are inconsistencies in character or plot, what you like or don’t like, and your general opinion of the story. But don’t feel like you have to say or write about any of that. Just write whatever you feel up to writing, and whatever you give will be greatly appreciated!
