Lorcan
Lorcan could feel a roaring in his head, building to a crescendo. Everything else faded away, his senses centering on Niarok rocking his sister’s body, trying to revive her.

Lorcan shook the memory away, and rubbed his eyes. His chest was heavy with dark emotions, with burdens too many to count.
This was the second time he had failed to protect a girl his heart yearned to be near to.
