Ohhh, SORRY! I’ve obviously not been on in like, MONTHS…probably.  I’ve had a LOOONNG untold break from Story Embers.  Just kinda caught up in school and stuff but I should be able to join back up again if this is still going on.

Jess(smiles): It’s actually really helpful.  (quietly) I don’t know what I’d do without Jimmy…

Jess(surprised): Yes! All the time.

Jimmy: My foresight usually helps me save my friends’ lives.  If yu don’t mind…um, who’s Jace?

She nodded.  “Yup.”  Anna suddenly dashed out into the courtyard, completely visible.  A couple of the soldiers saw her and gave chase.  Anna, being fast, but not incredibly fast enough to outrun them, closed her eyes for a second and was instantly invisible.  Her pursuers skidded to a stop, utterly confused.

Jimmy(nods): I was born with power t’ see the future.  Only about a few seconds into the future though.

Jess: Yeah, and I dream the future when I sleep, though sometimes I can see what I call “daydreams”.  Sometimes it’s not the best power though…everyone is always out to use you for it… (sighs)

Me(gestures to a white-haired girl and a red-haired boy): Okay, Jess and Jimmy, meet Sage.

Jess: Hi, nice to meet you. (stares at Sage’s hair in awe)

Jimmy: Oh, hi there.  Nice t’ meet yu.  Yu kinda look like Jess.

“Yeah,” she whispered back, “I’m okay with fighting.  Though…I don’t have a weapon on me now.  I could still serve as a distraction with my invisibility.”  She eyed the girl and the soldiers steadily advancing towards her.
