@aborland Retelling stories and legends is amazing. I find that the best ones usually take a classic–like Robin Hood, which seems to be a cultural favorite–and add one specific twist, and take it from there. It totally reimagines and reanimates the story in fun and interesting days.

Something I’ve realized and actually been thinking about a lot recently is the retelling of things like nursery rhymes. Mary, Mary, Quite Contrary in particular has me really intruiged, especially from a Fantasy magic standpoint. I mean, those sort of tales can be interpreted in so many ways… How did these things happen? Why? What don’t we see? There’s just so much to delve into, and it’s amazing. Maybe I’ll get to writing something like this some day…
