    I have been summoned.

Indeed, I adore poetry. I love writing it, all different kinds. I like to experiment with rhyming patterns and formatting and stuff. One of my favorite things I’ve ever written is a ten-or-so-page poem-story inspired by (but not based off) The Great Gatsby. It’s not that long, the spacing is just wide, but it’s still one of the few things I’ve written that I am truly proud of. .-.

I also really like, not so much specific poets, as just certain styles of poetry. I love reading, big surprise, sad poems. Ones about heartbreak or loss. Ones that are simple but deep. Or sometimes happy ones, but with the same simplicity but depth… I guess I just love poems that portray emotions really well. I also really enjoy slam poetry– Neil Hilborn is incredible. And then, F. Scott Fitzgerald hasn’t written that many poems (though I do love the ones he has), but his writing style in general is extremely poetic, so I love it.
