Hey there friends!

I am working on doing some genre study and need to find some really good books to read. I’m studying the adventure fiction genre and the historical fiction genre. However, most lists seem to come up with historical romance or historical adventure fiction. I need plain contemporary adventure fiction and plain historical fiction suggestions. Preferably really clean teen and YA novels. Please no dystopian, horror, romance, WWI or WWII suggestions.
