I’ll be honest, I don’t always actively think about sentence structure as I write fiction. I do often write in first person, and find that shifts in scenes, action, etc. help me to keep that variation going as well.

I recently read Style by Joseph Williams and found it to be a wonderful resource in learning about sentence structure and editing my work. I read the 12th edition, and would definitely recommend looking into it!
