I’m a planner in nearly every aspect of life… except for creativity. For instance, I love sewing, but dread actually using patterns. In writing, it’s the same way. I’ve been working on the same novel on and off for about five years now. That is a long time to not have a plan on paper, and I’m finally doing it. I’m outlining my novel! I have wanted so desperately to be a full on pantser, but I just can’t do it and keep the creative flow going. Word count alone is not enough to drive me. I’ve had so many ideas, but no idea how to string them together to create a cohesive plot line… Turns out, I had all the ideas I needed. I just needed to learn how to put them in the right order.

I’m almost done with an overview of the plot (about 2/3 of the way), but I’d love to have a more in depth outline and have worked through world building by August 15.
