Done! A week late, but it got done.

Unless writing a book review counts, I didn’t get any fiction writing done this week. I did get over 5,000 words in blog posts and other things, though. 😛

Because of people’s different personalities, that can make things harder, but it can also give you a little freedom. Because who knows for sure that someone, somewhere, might actually act this way.

I’ve written quite a few books with a male MC. I have gotten advice from boys/men about them, and that has been helpful. Although, it really depends on what kind of man the character is vs. what kind of man the beta-reader is. Not quite. I’m making the goal to be September 30th instead.

This would be during the week when I have a ton of editing, a Facebook party to run, and a story embers article to write. Which means, no fiction writing. 😛 Does outlining count towards the word count? Because I could do some outlining this week possibly.

Yay! We won! Thanks everyone who helped out with it. I didn’t have a chance to with my two vacations (one planned and one spontaneous).

Eh. Not so good. I didn’t get to read it out loud yet. I’m hoping to do that tomorrow and Saturday.

What I didn’t like about this movie:

1. The plot was all over the place
2. The timeline was too. I had a hard time following it, especially at the end

My husband and I recently watched this movie for the first and only time. I know a lot of people like the movie, but neither of us did. I didn’t care for the songs and the plot was nearly impossible to follow. I can go into more details if you’d like, but I’m kind of afraid to since so many of you like it. 😛

Overall, I liked the movie for the most part at first viewing. There were parts that were confusing or didn’t make sense from a plot point of view, but it was pretty good.

As I thought about it more, it was only an okay movie. I like The Force Awakens and this one was disappointing. But the same is true for me of the original trilogy. I like A…[Read more]
