@noodle-mum I love that so much. That username has much more personality behind it than I was expecting. Also, 10 siblings? That’s fantastic!! Big families are wonderful. My best friend is the third-oldest of 12, and her family’s dynamic is spectacular. (For me, at least, who gets to stand on the sidelines and be an objective bystander to the chaos. I’m sure it’s much more difficult to actually do life with a big family.)(Though still totally worth it. 😉)

There is literally no meaning behind Ethryndal other than I was a fresh-faced Tolkien convert at the time, obsessed with internet safety and determined I was an elf. (Still am, if we’re being honest. 😏) This was several years ago on the Kingdom Pen forum, and by the time Story Embers had its birth, I was so sentimentally attached to the name that it just kind of stuck. (Though I go by my real name now, and Ethryndal is reserved for the @.)
