Oh man. Tags. They’re either incredibly useful filler material or extremely annoying schedule-violators. There is no in-between. This, however, looks fun. Despite the fact that I (unlike SOME people *passive-aggressive chuckling*) have only one book to choose characters from.
Most likely to be a poet
Emolas, my green-haired sunshine child. He’s already somewhat of a poet, being a strange mixture of part-prophet, part-revolutionary, and part-social-disaster.
Most likely to dance in the rain
Lotch, a tiny little 9-year-old bean. Having grown up as an abused scullery maid in a backwards desert town, she’s learned to love the little things whenever and wherever she manages to find them.
Most likely to get punched in the face
Sadly, this could apply to almost ALL of my characters, as most of them seem to be lacking a filter on what’s socially acceptable or not.
Most likely to drop everything and become a sheep herder
Ehehehe…. This would also be Emolas. Imagine the introspective possibilities when surrounded by nothing but quiet fields and quiet sheep.
Most likely to be found in the library
Liriel, my main character. She’s quiet and withdrawn, preferring the company of her mind to real conversation. Books of information could keep her in intellectual bliss for hours.
Most likely to sleep through an earthquake
Hmmm…
Most likely to steal food from other people’s plates
Lotch. The child’s stomach is like a vacuum with holes in its bag.
Most likely to cheat on a test
Silva, the head of foreign intelligence. What can I say; the guy knows how to manipulate his circumstances.
Most likely to say “oops” after setting something on fire
Lotch. Without a doubt. In fact, I have it on good authority that this has actually happened several times.
Most likely to open an orphanage
Sley… Despite being a spiteful grouch 90% of the time, he’s actually rather fond of children, and can’t stand seeing them get hurt. (Of course, he’d probably kick them out the moment they turned 20, but hey, the guy is an intense advocate of tough love. Don’t judge him.)
Most likely to run off with the circus
Aven, the curious and effervescent captain of the guard. He’d do it out of sheer boredom. (Plus, hey, he’s always secretly wanted to learn how to breath fire. Or walk a tightrope. Or train a lion. Useful skills, guys, useful skills.)
Most likely to survive a zombie apocalypse
Sley. To be honest, his mind is a zombie apocalypse in its own right, so I feel like he’s already well versed in how they work.
Most likely to fake their own death
Silva. Once again, this guy is clever, and he knows how the world works. He’s not afraid of using shady methods if his job demands it.
Most likely to die and haunt their friends
Ehhh… Liriel would do it so she could explain (in exhaustive detail) everything they did wrong leading up to that moment. Emolas would haunt them so they wouldn’t have to feel sad about never seeing him again. Silva would do it because he takes a morbid delight in unsettling people, Aven would do it because he wants to see how it works, and Lotch would do it because it’s fun.
And Sley’s only friend is death, so I feel like that one’s kind of a mute point.
