@eden-anderson You like LotR. And classics. *wise nod* Yep, with this kind of taste, you just endeared yourself to every single clique Story Embers has. 😉 Your Raven story sounds interesting! Robin Hood is one of my favorite legends ever, so anytime someone has a character who reflects bits of him, I’m ready to blindly throw my lot in. My own story is about a self-righteous immortal who somehow gets paired with a 9 year old street urchin in an attempt to save the world.

(One of these days I’ll write a pitch for it that’s way more eloquent, but… *raises sword* IT IS NOT THIS DAY.)

As I’ve said before: You have very good taste in books. Nobody can do better than the classics. Do you watch any of the BBC mini-series? They make stunning adaptations of Charles Dickens’ work. And hey, if you’re looking for good fantasy, well… Have you ever heard of N. D. Wilson? (100 Cupboards, etc.) He writes some of the most swashbucklingly beautiful fantasy I’ve ever read.

Hmm, my hobbies… Well, I like to paint and draw. When I’m not writing, that’s generally what I spend my spare time doing, and at the moment, I’m trying to launch a portrait business. It’s… slow going. (I’ve also gotten into needle-felting lately, but I’m not very good yet…) What are some of your hobbies?
