Hey everyone!

I’m new to the forum, and I have a few questions for this short story (and it possibly might even turn into a book) I’m planning…

Basically I came up with this idea to write a story about a United States Marine Corps soldier who goes on a combat patrol, gets pinned down by enemy combatants, and has to make some serious decisions in order to save the squad. (Btw I literally like two minutes ago came up with this idea)

(1) Are there any former/current USMC people on here who could give me advice?

(2) Plot lines. Man I’m terrible at those. Any advice is greatly appreciated

(3)Does anyone know of a way to write a swearing marine (lets just admit it, marines will swear) and keep the book Christian?

(4) How can I write a pretty much cold blooded killer and keep it Christian?

any advice is greatly appreciated, thank you in advance. At some point here I’ll post a basic story line and character descriptions.
