1.What’s the genre and a (brief) summary of your current WIP?

Right now I have two WIP’s: 1) A story about a family settling in Nebraska in the 1870’s. The main character is named Ada, and I have made her likes/dislikes and personality similar to my own, which has been both fun and interesting to write. 2) A short story about a blind girl whose mother dies–she then has to learn to trust again.

2. What’s one hobby you have other than writing?

My biggest hobby is probably music–I love playing violin, piano, or guitar in orchestra and at church. I love reading (old books especially)! I also love to teach. I teach violin and I also teach the five and six-year olds at church. 🙂

3. What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever done in the name of writing?

I know that the Most Popular Names in the 1800’s and the Greek Names and Meanings websites used to be the most visited sites on the computer, but other than that I can’t thing of any super weird things I’ve done… yet. 😉

4. If you’ve been in the guild for a while what’s your favorite thing about it, and if you’re new, what are you most excited for?

I’m excited about the community and the opportunity to receive advice from experienced, Christian writers. 🙂

5. Something random about you. Or wacky. Or both.

I collect and learn random instruments as a hobby–as of Saturday I play twelve. I’ve also broken seven different bones, all at different times. And I’m over six feet tall.
