Pia tossed Kallun her helmet and pike, which he caught in smooth gestures. As they walked, she repinned her long, strawberry-brown hair up into a low bun, with some short wisps seeking refuge around her face. Kallun handed her the helmet again, which she gingerly put on, then she took her pike back. This was all done in silence as they walked, but between good friends who understood each other even without talking.
