Kallun’s eyes never left the shadowed figure. “It’s okay.” He whispered, “I think.” He stepped towards the figure, “Please come out.”

the figure hesitated for a moment before closing the space between them. The person was wearing a mixture of gray and beige robes with some lightweight sand-colored armor. Kallun reached up and took off the helmet of the person. This revealed her to be a young woman, maybe around 19.
She had long strawberry-brown hair that was let loose without the helmet. Big piercing brown eyes stared at him. She was pretty, and taller than Eliana. She dropped her pike.

Kallun blinked slowly. “I thought you were dead.” His voice cracked, revealing his emotion which he hid away on his face.

“well, I’m not.” She retorted.

he dropped her helmet and wrapped his arms around her in a hug. She returned the embrace.
