I would say if you are the one writing this, then do what feels the most right for you.

But I suppose that isn’t very helpful. 😛

I don’t have any experience with writing (or reading) sci-fi, but I really don’t care if that’s what you choose. If you feel the most comfortable writing contemporary or fantasy then I think you should go with that. Unless of course you are feeling in the mood for experimenting. 😉

I feel like I’m not being much help, but I really don’t know what else to say. I wish some others were around to help us…(*glances off into the distance* Where are you guys?)
