Ooh, I love this idea! I have a large cast of characters, and if you want to hear about all of them, just ask! And get ready for a looooong post. But for now I’ll just focus on my central character, Phoenix.

Katelynn (named after a friend of mine) lives in a fantasy world full of monsters, and she’s terrified of them. She tries to hide it by becoming tough, learning to fight and working to take them down so nobody else has to be as afraid as she (even still) is. Then a phoenix grants her fire powers–that’s right, folks, this is superhero fantasy! You’d think being able to destroy most monsters with a single blast would make her less scared of them, but you’d be wrong. Her entire story, she has to fight this.
