This is for my main WIP, Beautiful Murder, so here goes.

    1. The Characteristic Moment

I guess this would be like when we first see Isabelle (the MC) murder someone, and then she’s not repentant, exactly, because it’s not her choice. She can’t stop herself, so I guess it’s more she’s just sorry for what she’s done and exacts penance from herself in a small kind of retribution.

    2. The Inciting Incident

This would be when Isabelle is forced to murder Amelia, her best friend of many years. She realizes just how important it is that she breaks the curse and stops herself from murdering even more people.

    3. The Moment of Truth

Isabelle realizes that to break the curse, she has to accept the idea of marriage, and so plans the ball at which she will choose her suitors.

    4. The Period of Despair

Isabelle thought that Kieran would be the one to break the curse, but feels it’s hopeless when he finds out about her murderous ways, removes himself from the “competition”, and kills her parents.

    5. The Surge of Strength

Isabelle believes the curse will never be broken the way it was meant to be. Seeing no other way, she decides to take her own life in order to end the murders and leave the kingdom to Kieran and the other rebels to do with what they wish.

    6. The Denouement

(I actually spelled that right the first time…I think I deserve more coffee or something. lol)

When Isabelle explains to Kieran that she wants him to take over the kingdom and she’ll be leaving for a good long while, he realizes what she’s actually going to do. In an effort to save her life, he *finally* reveals his true feelings for her and tells her that he loves her, thereby breaking the curse. It is then implied that as queen with Kieran by her side, Isabelle reforms the country, granting some of what the rebels want.

(I’m not entirely sure about that last part right now, seeing as I am nowhere close to the end, but that seemed the best way to describe it.)
