Not gonna lie, finding an editor didn’t really occur to me as something majorly important until quite recently, mainly because of the expenses and process of it all. I know it would be super useful to have someone professionally revise your work and do developmental editing, but I always thought that a good team of beta readers would be just as good. What is it specifically about editors that it would be a good plan to invest in one? I know they’re super important in the writing world so pardon my ignorance on the subject 🙂
