Oh wow. This’ll be hard. We could do something where the character has gradually lost everything–whether physically or pride-wise, that sort of thing–and eventually realizes they have nothing left. Everything is stripped away, and all they have is God. They could be someone who has grown up in church their whole life, knows all the right things to say, knows all the rituals and everything, but they see it as fake. Then they realize it’s not. There could be the influence of a true Christian friend. (Okay, this is sorta like my story. XD) But anyway. Just my thoughts. And they’ve been spiritually prideful, maybe? They can fake it, and they’re guilty about it. Idk.
