YES WE SHOULD START WRITING!
Also, now that I read over the discussion that the guildmasters had, we ended discussing both sunrise and sunsets without noticing the discrepancy, so I think we’re going to go with a general sun movement theme.
Anybody who wants to be on the writing squad, here’s the link for y’all to write in:

Wow guys, you all are doing… really well. Welcome to the party “latecomers” but this topic isn’t even twelve hours old so who’s to say what late even means. Since we’re moving so quickly, let’s come up with another round of ideas. Everybody pick another list item, and come up with more showing/emotion ideas.
(Also just… wow you guys are ro…[Read more]

Wow, these are all really good ideas.
@Skredder Let’s hold off on that until we’ve worked through the list of ideas together, and then yes please.
So, WOW we already have a list as long as Daeus’, I’m sure. Let’s move on to step two! Everybody pick one of the listed things and come up with a few good ways it could be a) shown in a non-cliche w…[Read more]

@ashlyvye, it’s up now. My massive people tagging got me marked as spam I think. Not even guildmasters are invincible, it appears.

Hey @AshlyVye, yeah this is not news. I’m not sure what happened, but it went dead the second I posted. I’m working with Daeus to track it down and will get it up and readable ASAP. Thanks for the heads up!

Don’t let it be said that we were the aggressors here; Rillumen is the last guild to enter the conflict. However, our honor must be upheld. To war we go.
Yesterday, our rival guilds New Wessex and Avensbeck began a war which we must now join. The first battle is to be fought this week, through long nights and crammed lunch breaks. Want to hel…[Read more]

Okay so I found a good way to spend time. N.D. Wilson’s quotes on goodreads are p cool.
“Writer’s block — so what? Write something bad. Just throw it in the trash can when you’re done, you’re always improving. That kind of writing is like doing a bunch of push-ups. Every individual push-up is not the important thing. On Tuesday you’re going to t…[Read more]

@happyholly_C Other guildmasters and forum mods can see Rillumen, and probably the NSA, but other than that just us and any hackers.

I’m glad this was encouraging. TBH, I also needed to hear this today, so I’m glad it circled around the publishing circuit. Talk about timing. 😛

ONLY ONE CRITIQUE ALLOWED!!!!!! (kidding) Thanks for sharing!
I really liked the mood of waiting. You described the shop as a comfy, happy place to be, but nobody was there, which is curious. Details like prices for today helped instill the feeling that there were things to be done, but none of them had started yet.

Wow, very nice.
I think my favorite part of the whole scene was when Aldred and Casse (and me) were expecting some big fight or threat and they throw the door open and… it’s just a cook overreacting.
The description of the Darger was good. I’m picturing a ferret with little feathered angel wings, idk if that’s accurate or not. I liked the s…[Read more]
