Wen flew up, glaring after Allen. “He said what?!” Eltar rose to her level, placing a hand on her shoulder. “Calm down. His world is different.” The fire in his cousin’s eyes died. “I know,” she whispered sadly, “but I made an oath, Eltar. You remember that. I swore to protect ALL dragons as leader of the Rangers and heir to Avarya. And I must explain to them and apologize.” She darted after the dragons. Eltar groaned, wheeling to the others remaining. He bowed. “I apologize for my cousin’s impetuousness. She still has much to learn of being a leader.” He whipped round and ran after her.
